TONIGHT: DEVIL RAYS VS. TWINS

WHEN/WHERE: 8:05; Metrodome, Minneapolis.

TV/RADIO: SportsChannel; WFLA-AM 970, WLVU-FM 106.3.

PITCHERS: Wilson Alvarez (3-2, 3.96) vs. Bob Tewksbury (2-3, 3.82).

WHAT TO LOOK FOR: Alvarez seeks to rebound from his worst Tampa Bay start, a Friday night outing when he didn't get an out in the second inning. Tewksbury, a 37-year-old veteran who pitched at Saint Leo College, is a soft tosser known for excellent control. It will be interesting to see how the Rays react to the tricky Metrodome roof.

ETC: The Rays are on the road for seven games in eight days, returning home for a May 8 game against Baltimore.

INFORMATION: Call 825-3137.
