Lecanto Middle School sixth-grade girls, finishing a week at Project Harmony, a Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranch program at Camp Caruth in Inglis for middle school potential leaders, were asked: "What was the most important thing you learned this week?"

KRISTAN VINO, 12

"I learned that when you do something with people you have to use teamwork and you have to cooperate, communicate and concentrate. Otherwise you won't be able to do it as well."

SHAYNA DEMANGONE, 11

"I learned to accept people no matter what they do or what they think. Look inside them and you will see the good in them."

AMANDA PEARCY, 12

"I learned that you have to respect yourself, your friends and your environment and if you don't use these you won't be successful in life."

ASHLEY LANGLEY, 12

"I learned that when we work together, anything is possible. When we did the challenge course, we all had to work together, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to do it."
