Question: Did Rob Lowe, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Charlie Sheen ever serve in the military? And if not, why not? I'm just fed up with guys who play soldier, but have yet to hear a bullet whistle past their ears.

Answer: So far as I know, none of them were required to serve. As for your comments about who should play soldier, as you say, keep in mind that John Wayne never served in the military, but he certainly played a lot of soldiers and Marines, etc. And the men who were in action overseas loved him for the way he portrayed them.

Question: I have a dispute with my neighbor, who says the late John Denver once told a preacher that he regretted making the Oh God movie because he felt it was sacrilegious. Have you anything to back this up, or will I be able to tell my neighbor she's full of pepper?

Answer: Full of pepper? I don't know exactly what that means (or maybe I do but I'm not sure) but I like the way it sounds when I say it.

Anyway, Denver never publicly voiced any doubts about doing the film. If anything, he once told an interviewer he felt the movie, which starred the late George Burns as God, made him feel more comfortable about his relationship with God.
