Central's Stephanie Beaulieu, like the rest of Class 4A, couldn't overcome her Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons opponent.
The sophomore fell 6-0, 6-1 to Jodi Kenoyer in the No. 2 singles final. Beaulieu and her sister Tammy were defeated in the No. 1 doubles semifinals by sisters Jacki and Katie Arcario of Orlando Bishop Moore.
Cardinal Gibbons easily won the team title, its third in four seasons. Orlando Bishop Moore was a distant second, while Central was fourth.
Cardinal Gibbons also won the boys tournament, its fourth in a row. Jesuit was second, while Zephyrhills tied for fourth.
Zephyrhills' No. 1 doubles team of Fernando Mantese and Chris Black fell to Jesuit's Andrew Laflin and Taylor Ralph 6-2, 6-1 in the semifinals.
In the girls individual draw, Lecanto's doubles team of Maggie Lamperelli and Kate Jendro was eliminated in the quarterfinals.
