He's not prickly yet, but give him time

Sim Hollamby, a veterinary intern at Lowry Park Zoo, gives milk supplement to a prehensile-tailed porcupine Friday. Born April 26, he is a member of the rodent family and will develop a full coat of spines. Native to the rain forest, only 50 prehensile-tailed porcupines live in 17 zoos across the United States. The baby's parents, Patrick and Penelope, were introduced at the zoo in October.
