Jeremy Salazar drove in three runs to lead Florida State to an 11-5 victory over Miami on Saturday night, snapping the Hurricanes' 23-game home winning streak.
The Seminoles broke open a 3-2 game in the seventh with four runs, including Salazar's two-run homer to center.
Seminoles starter John McDonald went six innings and allowed one run on four hits with two strikeouts. The Hurricanes' Darryl Roque gave up a season-high seven runs on nine hits in 6 innings.
FSU's Jose Zabala went 4-for-4 with three runs and an RBI. Miami's Manny Crespo hit his 11th home run and fourth against the Seminoles.
FLORIDA 13, ARKANSAS 9: Florida's Derek Nicholson hit a grand slam to lead the visiting Gators. Florida (37-12, 18-7) moved into sole possession of first place in the SEC Eastern Division. Arkansas (31-17, 10-13) dropped its fourth straight conference game and fell to sixth in the SEC West. Michael Gray got his second win in two nights in relief of starter Tommy Bond. Razorbacks right-hander Dan Wright allowed seven runs in five innings. Eric Hinske hit two home runs, including a grand slam for Arkansas. Florida's Mark Ellis hit his 10th home run.
The Razorbacks' Ryan Lundquist left the game in the seventh inning after sustaining an apparent dislocated shoulder on a headfirst slide into first base. Lundquist was hospitalized for observation.
