WHAT TO LOOK FOR: With a number of players slowed by nagging injuries, the Rays can use today's off day. OF Rich Butler, hit on the hand by a pitch Thursday, should be ready to return to the lineup Tuesday. The day of rest also will be good for OF Dave Martinez, who sprained his left shoulder Wednesday. The Rays also have Thursday off.

ETC: The Royals also are off today. Kansas City OF Johnny Damon is from Orlando. The Rays' next home game is Friday night against Baltimore.
