Five Citrus County residents were arrested Friday night during raids on areas known for drug activities.
Citrus County sheriff's deputies also seized 33 pieces of crack cocaine, which they valued at $1,300.
The Sheriff's Office said the arrests came after deputies went to suspects' homes, knocked on the door and asked the occupants if they had illegal narcotics inside. Deputies called the process "knock and talk."

Several complaints of illegal drug activities had come from residents of the two apartment complexes, the Sheriff's Office said.
