At the Rainbow Quilters meeting on June 18, the members brought at least 20 quilt tops to be "basted, turned, top-sewed and tied," member Shirley Locke said.
Doris Kingery, left, and Mary Glendeming remove the pins from one of 30 longer-than-average twin-size quilts their group, the Rainbow Quilters, plans to donate to the Ronald McDonald House in Gainesville on July 16. The group has worked steadily on the quilt tops since the winter months.
