Eric Lindros, recovering from a mild concussion in Calgary on Tuesday, missed his first game of the season when the Philadelphia Flyers faced the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday night.
Lindros, the NHL's scoring leader with 19 goals and 25 assists, is listed as day-to-day, and his condition will be re-evaluated before the Flyers' next game in Edmonton on Sunday. The captain was hit three times during one shift in the second period of Tuesday's 4-3 overtime victory at Calgary.
Although it's not clear which hit caused the concussion, Lindros' head did smack into the glass after he was checked by Flames' Jason Wiemer. It's the second concussion for Lindros over his seven-year career.
