Two men accused of break-in, threatening woman with a knife

(ran PC edition)

Pasco County sheriff's deputies arrested two men early Wednesday and charged them with breaking into a woman's mobile home and threatening her with a knife, demanding sex and beer.

The victim's name is being withheld because of the nature of the threats.

Police charged Michael Shawn Small, 38, and Randy Jay Kile, 33, both residents of mobile homes at the Rainbow's End RV park, 5824 23rd St. The two used a pocketknife to jimmy the mobile home's front door, then threatened the woman with the knife, the sheriff's report said.

The woman armed herself with a large, heavy chain and screamed for help until the men fled.

Kile knew the woman and was charged with violating a court order to stay away from her, the report said.

Both men were charged with armed burglary. They remained in the Pasco County jail in Land O'Lakes on $50,000 bail Thursday.
