Pasco police officers charged 13 residents with driving under the influence of alcohol New Year's Eve and early Friday morning.
One of the 13, Keith Michael "Skull" Wagner, 34, was arrested while driving a bicycle. Wagner, 6718 Sierra Terrace, New Port Richey, was riding his bike along Cedar Lane in New Port Richey when a sheriff's deputy stopped him for riding without a bicycle headlight.
Wagner told the deputy he had consumed 12 beers and failed a finger-to-nose sobriety test on three of six attempts, authorities said. Wagner was charged with DUI and was required to post a $250 bond.
The arrests were part of a sweep conducted by the Pasco County Sheriff's Office and the Port Richey and Dade City police departments.
