OUTTA LEFTFIELD

The San Francisco bay area is home for a number of Devil Rays, and they try to make the best of their visit. Aaron Ledesma, who grew up in nearby Union City, expected about 35 family and friends for Friday's game. Oakland native Bobby Smith had only a few guests coming, but they were pretty special: his mother, his girlfriend and his 9-month-old daughter, Bobbi Monique, who was attending her first baseball game.
