Twelve-year-olds from the Forest Hills Bronco Division of PONY Baseball are in Monterrey, Calif., this weekend to compete for a national title. The all-star team from Forest Hills won the South Zone title in Town 'N Country last weekend. They defeated teams from Texas, Louisiana and Miami, by scoring 39 runs in four games while allowing 11, said Daniel Martinez, one of the coaches. The team was scheduled to play its first game Thursday, and was off today for sightseeing, Martinez said. The finals will be held next week.
