A Hillsborough circuit judge dismissed for the second time Thursday a complaint brought by two unsuccessful candidates for the Tampa City Council earlier this year.

The allegations of Carl W. Cosio and Joe Robinson that they were the victims of election fraud in the District 5 race that re-elected Gwen Miller were without merit, Circuit Judge Greg Holder ruled. The pair were joined in their revised complaint by fellow unsuccessful District 5 candidate Ali Akbar. The complaint alleged breaches in poll security.

Elections Supervisor Pam Iorio said afterward she was pleased with the decision. "There was nothing wrong with that city of Tampa election," Iorio said.
