Oscar-winning actor Geena Davis qualified for the competition that could put her on the U.S. Olympic archery team.
Outside of the competitors, apparently no one noticed the star of The Accidental Tourist advanced to the final 32. Davis was one of 300 competing July 12-16 in Oxford, Ohio.
"She just wants to keep a low profile," National Archery Association spokeswoman Kathleen Frazier said.
The Aug. 22-24 finals in Bloomfield, N.J., will determine three berths, plus an alternate.
Davis reportedly began lessons two years ago and practices five hours a day.
