IT'S THE WORD: Playhouse 19's production of Grease, the wildly popular love story centered around the bad boys and cool girls of the class of 1959 at Rydell High, has its final run this weekend at Playhouse 19, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. The musical features the cast of the theater's summer acting camp. Songs include Grease Is The Word, You're The One That I Want and Summer Nights. Showtimes tonight and Saturday are at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinee is at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for season ticket subscribers and $5 for students. LOOK AHEAD

MUSICAL CANTEEN: Gulf Islands Civic Theatre presents its first musical dinner theater, Swingtime Canteen, opening Aug. 19 and playing for two weekends at Andre's Restaurant in Citrus Hills. The musical features songs and music, including more than 30 vintage classics, from the World War II era. The plot involves a USO-style musical revue making its way through war-torn London. Tickets are $27, which includes tax and gratuity. Cash bar opens at 6 p.m. for the Friday and Saturday shows withdinner at 6:45 p.m. The performance begins at 8 p.m. On Sunday, the schedule is 1 p.m. for cash bar, meal at 1:30 and performance at 2:45 p.m. For reservations, call Andre's at 746-6855.
