Fashion takes stage at library

For the past month, preteens and teenagers ages 6-14 have gathered each week to take part in a modeling program at the New Port Richey Public Library. The girls and boys were visited by a professional model, a fashion coordinator and a professional manicurist and practiced the skills they learned. On Wednesday, the group showed off its talents by participating in the fifth annual Preteen and Teen Fashion show at the library. Bunnie McCormack, the assistant director of New Port Richey Public Library, coordinated the program and show. "They're like a metamorphosis; they go from slouchy little teenage girls to little ladies," McCormack says.
