A $32-million wrongful-death lawsuit over the 1997 killing in Florida of the mother of toddler quadruplets will not be heard until next year, a judge decided Friday.
State District Judge Pat Boone of Bexar County changed the Nov. 15 start date to March 6.
The lawsuit was filed by Jamie Bellush, widower of Sheila Bellush, against Mrs. Bellush's former husband, San Antonio businessman Allen Blackthorne, and three other men who the lawsuit says arranged and carried out the November 1997 killing of Mrs. Bellush at her home in Sarasota.
Blackthorne has not been charged and denies involvement.
Sammy Gonzales and Daniel Rocha are in prison for their roles in the killing of Mrs. Bellush. Jose Luis Del Toro Jr. is in Sarasota awaiting trial after being extradited last month from Mexico.
