Two women, one of them seven months pregnant, were stabbed in the back early Saturday, police said.
Tanika L. Pitts, 22, and Chrishona Burrowes, 20, both of Tarpon Springs, were confronted about midnight by at least one person armed with a knife at 711 S Safford Ave., police said.
Pitts, who is pregnant, was stabbed three times in the back, police said. She was flown to Bayfront Medical Center, where she was treated and released.
Burrowes was stabbed once and was taken to nearby Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital, which would release no information.
Tarpon Springs police disclosed no information about the incident. Police said they had identified a suspect in the stabbing, but no arrest had been made.
