OUTTA LEFTFIELD

Reliever Norm Charlton comes from good stock: His parents, Norm and Cindy Charlton, were named the George and Barbara Bush Little League Parents of the Year by Little League Baseball.

The Charltons of Rockport, Texas, have been involved in Little League since Norm was 11. They have maintained their participation long since their sons (the other, Craig, is a Secret Service agent) became adults.
