Celotex Corp. named Kelly Soud as an employee relations specialist for its human resources department. She previously practiced labor and employment law at the law firm of Thompson, Sizemore and Gonzalez, P.A., Tampa. She holds a degree in psychology from the University of Florida and a juris doctorate from Stetson College of Law, St. Petersburg.

Amie Devero joined PC Production as director of marketing and sales. She received her master's degree from the London School of Economics.

The North Tampa Chamber of Commerce will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at TravelLodge/Best Western Conference Center, 820 E Busch Blvd. The group will announce the law enforcement officer of the month and discuss civic improvements. The luncheon is $10. Call (813) 980-6966.

Carlton Fields law firm announced that C. Douglas McDonald has been named to the editorial board of the Trademark Reporter by the International Trademark Association. He is currently the president of the Intellectual Property Organization.

Romac International named Larry Stanczak as vice president of operations. Stanczak joined Source Services Corporation, a business of Romac International, in 1979 as an associate in the Milwaukee information technology branch.

The American Lung Association of Gulfcoast Florida presented its 1999 Corporate Partnership Award to Jerry Ulm Dodge, Tampa. Jerry Ulm Dodge was recognized for its ongoing support of the AirWise project.

David L. Smith has joined Shackelford, Farrior, Stallings & Evans, P.A. He practices in real estate, land-use planning and administrative law. He has served on the executive council for the real property, probate and trust law section of the Florida Bar and chaired the government regulation of land use committee.
