+ DEALING WITH DIVORCE: The Centre for Women in Tampa offers several programs to assist women who are considering or are getting a divorce.

A seminar on Florida Separation and Divorce Law will meet twice this month: 1:30-3:30 p.m. Aug. 18 with lawyer Beth Reineke; and 6-8 p.m. Aug. 31 with lawyer Kay McGucken. Both specialize in family law and will cover issues relating to child custody, support and property division. Fee: $5.

A divorce support group meets from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays at the center. New participants may join the first Wednesday of each month but first must schedule an interview.

All programs will be at the center, 305 S Hyde Park Ave., and reservations are required. Call (813) 251-8437 between 1 and 4:30 p.m. weekdays.

Since 1978, the non-profit Centre for Women has provided services to women, girls, the elderly and families through monthly classes and workshops, information and referrals, and special programs.
