Youth Revival '99 will be presented at Praise Assembly of God, 17920 Meridian Blvd., Hudson, Friday through Aug. 22. Dave Amsler will be the guest speaker. He is the Kentucky District youth director and counseled teens after the Paducah school shootings. Friday services begin at 7 p.m. On Aug. 21 there will be competitive volleyball and basketball for youths between 3 and 6 p.m. Revival begins at 6:30 after the competitions. "A Woman's Heart," an 11-week study by Beth Moore, is scheduled to begin Sept. 3 and Sept. 5 at First Baptist Church of Lutz, 18116 U.S. 41 N. Friday sessions are from 8:45 to 11 a.m., and Sunday sessions are from 4 to 6 p.m. Moore is the author of several books, including To Live is Christ and A Heart Like His. New Port Richey
The director of children's and youth ministries, Joan Dennis, will be honored at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services Sunday at First United Methodist Church, 5901 Indiana Ave., New Port Richey. She has been on the part-time staff for two years, and during this time she has increased the involvement of youths in the life of the church. Through her efforts, 20 young people attended the Florida Conference United Methodist Youth Camp at Leesburg this summer. The youth fellowship also will have its own farewell activity with her during the coming week.
Evangelists Ken and Lorraine Krivohlavek are scheduled to minister a Bible Deliverence Revival at 10:30 a.m. Sunday and 6 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, 550 E Tarpon Ave., Tarpon Springs. Weeknight services are at 7 p.m. through Wednesday. The Rev. Krivohlavek pastored in Missouri, Nebraska and Idaho for 12 years before entering the evangelistic ministry.
