The Queen Mum is coming to American television, and her grandson is making it possible. Prince Edward of England has signed a development deal with NBC to bring the life story of H.M. Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother to an American television network, and his production company is going to be in charge of the project. The Queen Mum, who turned 99 earlier this month, will have her life story told American style, say sources, which means with a bit more of an eye on action than simply style. Prince Edward, who goes by the name Edward Windsor when wearing his Hollywood producer hat, is the youngest child of Queen Elizabeth II of England. He was in Tinseltown recently pitching his ideas with network and studio executives, and apparently was met with open arms by those looking for new product and Royal Family associations. Windsor said several other project are in the works right now, and that he plans to make quite a splash for himself in Tinseltown.
