Hillsborough County sheriff's deputies have arrested a Tampa man and charged him in connection with a string of smash-and-grab burglaries early Saturday morning.

A dozen small businesses in Carrollwood and Temple Terrace were hit overnight.

Jesus Ynocencio, 46, of 2531 W Green St., admitted smashing the glass door of Bruno's Pizza at Waters and Armenia avenues about 2:30 a.m., according to police. He also has been charged with similar robberies Saturday morning at a Radio Shack at 7061 W Waters Ave. and at Snow White Cleaners at 7511 W Waters Ave.

No one was injured in the burglaries.

Three mobile phones from Radio Shack and an undisclosed amount of cash from the other businesses were taken.

Ynocencio has been charged with three counts of burglary. His bail was set at $15,000.

Sheriff's officials have not said whether they suspect him in the other, similar burglaries.
