NOTES: USC is much improved from last season, when back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances gave way to an 8-21 record. The Gamecocks already have more victories than last season, and among the losses are a pair of heartbreakers: in overtime to No. 4 Syracuse and in the final second to No. 20 Vanderbilt. They are in the middle of a stretch in which eight of 10 opponents are ranked. UF swept the series last season for the first time since 1995, snapping a six-game losing streak to USC. Miller has scored 73 points in his past four games (18.3 ppg) after scoring just 13 in his previous two. Bad blood still exists from two years ago, when Fogler questioned Donovan's recruiting tactics. The SEC found nothing wrong.
