Atlanta-based buyer plans format changes at area gospel station

Genesis Communications is in the process of buying WTBL-AM 1470 from Concord Media Group and has changed the station's call letters to WLVU. Starting Monday, the urban gospel format now heard on the station will change to contemporary Christian music.

Locally, Atlanta-based Genesis Communications also owns WWBA-AM 1040.

On Monday, two shows currently heard on WWBA will move to WLVU. The syndicated current events show hosted by Janet Parshall will air from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by the Billy Graham-hosted show Decision Today from 4 to 4:30 p.m.
