'50S ROCK COMES ALIVE: The 1950s rock band Joey Dee & The Starliters will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Heritage Pines Performing Arts Center off County Line Road. The band is best known for the songs Peppermint Twist, Mashed Potatoes and What Kind of Love Is This? The group recently performed at Harrah's in Atlantic City and the Santa Fe Casino in Las Vegas. SINGING: Singer Stan Prinston will perform at 8 p.m. Monday at the Jewish Community Center of West Pasco, 9841 Scenic Drive, Port Richey. Prinston has performed in New York, New Jersey and Las Vegas with Lou Rawls, Neil Diamond and Lionel Ritchie. He sings everything from 1950s pop tunes to today's sounds. Admission is $2.

ART EXHIBIT: The works of painter and writer Rosalie Felton Washington will be on exhibit through Feb. 27 at the Pasco-Hernando Community College library's museum room, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. The exhibit by the native New Yorker and resident of Spring Hill includes portraits, seascapes, still lifes and works with an African-American theme. A reception honoring the artist will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 11. Viewing hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sundays. Admission is free.

QUICK TRIPS

Pianist Anthony de Mare will perform works by Gershwin, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Copland and others at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center, 324 Pine St., Tarpon Springs. The musician won first prize and audience prize at the International Gaudeamus Interpreters Competition in the Netherlands and first prize at the International Competition of Contemporary Piano Music in France. LOOK AHEAD

Singer-pianist-comedian Cahal Dunne will perform at 2 p.m. Feb. 13 at St. James the Apostle Church, 8400 Monarch Drive, Port Richey. The award-winning native of Ireland has recorded several albums and will perform some of the Irish tunes on them during the concert, as well as songs made famous by Billy Joel or composed by Mozart.
