Gulfport

WENBERG, MARVIN C., 85, of West Lafayette, Ind., formerly of Gulfport, died Friday (Jan. 28, 2000) in Lafayette, Ind. Born in Dunnell, Minn., he moved to West Lafayette in 1961. He was an Army veteran of World War II and manager of Purdue University Veterinary Pharmacy. Locally, he attended Community Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Lorene; two sons, Capt. Marvin Carl II, Bellevue, Neb., and John P., Bridgeton, Mo.; a daughter, Anne Clayton, Columbus, Ind.; and 14 grandchildren. Sollerbaker Funeral Homes, Lafayette, Ind.

St. Pete Beach

OSTROWSKI, EVELYN MARIA, 84, of St. Pete Beach, died Tuesday (Jan. 25, 2000) at Shore Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She came here in 1978 from her native Trenton, N.J., and retired after 43 years as a waitress at Union Local 741. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope, Old Roman Catholic Church, St. Petersburg, the American Legion, Elks Club, Moose Lodge and VFW, all of Madeira Beach. Survivors include two daughters, Nadine Zola, Trenton, and Sandra Lange, St. Petersburg; a son, John Swaze, Trenton; a stepson, Tony, Chicago; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
