Corporate executives who find such leisure pursuits as tennis, golf, sailing or ballooning too tame or time consuming have a new sport _ blimp water skiing.
Monster.com CEO Jeff Taylor, 39, claimed a world record Tuesday by skiing for more than 11 minutes behind one of the Internet company's two airships on St. Andrews Bay.
The previous record claimant was British billionaire Richard Branson, chairman of the Virgin Group, who issued a challenge after skiing 1.5 miles behind a blimp. Taylor's ride covered 3.3 miles, lasting 11 minutes, 43 seconds.
