Jewish War Auxiliary announces new officers

Betty Carroll will lead activities as president of the Jewish War Veterans Auxiliary to Post 505 for 2000. Other officers are Beverly Pearlman, senior vice president; Edith Patten, junior vice president; Joan Pearlman, treasurer; Natlie Cohen, recording secretary; Millie Zinn, corresponding secretary; Evelyn Berlin, chaplain; Louise Post, conductress and Millie Zinn, publicity chairman.

The auxiliary meets at 1 p.m. the second Wednesday of the month at the Jewish Community Center in Port Richey.

Hammock Quester plans

potluck, exhibit

The Cypress Hammock Quester Chapter 1350 is sponsoring a potluck and exhibit from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Landings of St. Andrews, l5852 Sea Forest Drive, New Port Richey.

Marilyn Bieber, a local Longaberger basket and pottery consultant, will show baskets for the upcoming season. This is a fundraiser for the chapter with proceeds helping with the preservation and restoration efforts of the West Pasco Historical Museum and the 1882 restored Baker House in Holiday.
