Oldsmar approves zoning change

City Council members have unanimously approved changing the residential zoning of about 70 acres at the Tampa Bay Park of Commerce back to industrial and manufacturing. In 1996, the former owners of the 400-acre commerce park persuaded the city to change the industrial and manufacturing zoning on the parcel to residential so homes could be built there. The new owners of the park, Harrod Properties, recently asked the city to undo the change.
