STRONG MESSAGE: The Power Team, a group of Christian athletes who pulverize 400-pound ice blocks and break baseball bats in half while offering a message of strength to break free from the bondage of drugs, alcohol or other vices, will appear at 7 p.m. Wednesday through May 28 and 6:30 p.m. May 29 at Countryside Christian Center, 1850 McMullen-Booth Road, Clearwater. MASTERFUL ORATORIO: Clearwater Community Chorus, directed by Arthur Goetz, will present Mendelssohn's oratorio Elijah at 4 p.m. today at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 705 Michigan Blvd., Dunedin, and at 4 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 2001 Rainbow Drive, Clearwater. Elijah, based on the biblical prophet Elijah, is acclaimed as one of the greatest master choral works. An offering will be taken. Proceeds will be donated to Religious Community Services.

YOUNG VOICES: The junior choir

of Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 639 Edgewater Drive, Dunedin, will present "The Song We Came to Sing" at the 9:30 a.m. service Sunday. It's a contemporary musical about a choir that persists in singing its anthem in spite of numerous difficulties. Call (727) 446-7344.
