School play is part of Fine Arts Festival

Transfiguration Parish School Theater Arts 2000 will present Abe Zaccheus, or, Gimme that Old Time Religion, an original play set in the groovy '60s that takes the form of an old-time revival, complete with preacher, gospel chorus and children's choir.

The play at Transfiguration Church and School, 4000 43rd. St. N, St. Petersburg, is part of the first Fine Arts Festival and is set outdoors under the oak trees.

There will be a bake sale and refreshments as well as a tie-dye booth and face-painting. The audience is invited to wear clothes from the 1960s. The play will take place from 1 to 3:30 p.m. today. Tickets are $4 for adults and $1.50 for children under 12.
