Citrus watering restrictions

The following water use restrictions are in place for Citrus residents until June 30:

+ Irrigation is limited to one day per week.

+ Even numbered addresses can water Tuesday; odd numbers on Sunday.

+ In subdivisions with three watering schedules, such as Sugarmill Woods, addresses ending in 7, 8, 9 or 0 can water Monday; addresses ending in 2, 4 or 6, Tuesday; and addresses ending in 1, 3 or 5, Sunday.

+ Customers of the Homosassa Special Water District are now on a five-day watering schedule: addresses ending on 0 or 1, Monday; 2 or 3, Tuesday; 4 or 5, Wednesday; 6 or 7, Thursday and 8 or 9, Friday.

+ Watering is prohibited between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

+ People can hand-water their gardens _ not lawns _ any time during the week.
