"Battlefield Earth' is so bad it's funny

Movie: Battlefield Earth

Rating: PG-13

Summary: Battlefield Earth is a stereotypical sci-fi thriller. The few remaining humans on Earth fight to regain control of the planet, and obliterate the evil alien invaders.

My View: If you ask me, once you've seen one sci-fi alien movie, you've seen 'em all. This was no different from any other movie of this genre. The sound effects were too intense, the movie was extremely violent, and to top it all off, I left the theater with aching eyes, because most of the film was very dark _ and I mean that literally.

Favorite Part: The only good thing about this movie was that it was kind of funny. The alien's costumes were hilarious, and Terl, the head alien honcho (played by John Travolta), always seemed to come up with a catchy, sarcastic remark just when things started to slow down.

Least Favorite Part: Like I said, I've just seen too many movies like it. If they were going to waste their time making this movie, they could have at least put in a plot twist that hasn't already been done a thousand times!

Recommendations: Don't waste your time and money!
