XCITING ENDING

Tampa's Mike Frazier left it all on the half-pipe, almost too exhausted to move at the end of his second run during Saturday's Skateboarding Vert final. Frazier finshed fifth.

Defending X Games champion Bucky Lasek of Baltimore shrugged off a knee injury to rally from third spot in the preliminaries to win the Skateboarding vert finals.

After his final run, Bucky Lasek tosses his skateboard into the crowd. Lasek credited the crowd with inspiring his performance. "I wasn't too enthusiastic at first ... But the crowd as going crazy for me. That got me amped." Justin Nierman, 13, of St. Petersburg was lucky enough to come away with a prized souvenir.
