Beer bottles, baseball bats and fists were used in a Friday night fight that left four people in their early 20s injured. Hernando County sheriff's deputies have not made any arrests in the brawl, which occurred outside a party at 5564 Landover Blvd. According to a sheriff's office report, Jeremy R. Ruiz, 20, was lying on a trampoline when he was struck by a beer bottle. After he fell, two people began kicking him in the face and torso, he told authorities. Another partier, Kristin Noyes, 20, of Spring Hill was sitting outside in a lawn chair when a woman started kicking and punching her, the report said. Two of Noyes' friends, Richard Ruiz and Michael Hough, tried to break up the fight between the women, but several others surrounded the three friends and began beating them, the report said. Some of the group also hit Richard Ruiz's car with a baseball bat and a piece of PVC pipe, according to the report. Hough and the Ruizes of Spring Hill were taken to Oak Hill Hospital, where Hough refused treatment. Jeremy Ruiz was treated for cuts on his forehead. Richard Ruiz, 22, was treated for a fractured hand and non-life threatening head injuries.
