The Florida Association of the American Institute of Architects announces the advancement of Enrique (Henry) A. Woodroffe of Tampa to the national College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects. Woodroffe is the owner of Woodroffe Corporation Architects in Tampa. He was honored for his dedication to making the profession of architecture of ever-increasing service to society through volunteer work.

The law firm of Broad and Cassel has appointed Robert E. Johnson as the managing partner of its Tampa office. Kevin J. Fitzgerald has been appointed vice president of the electrical division for Akers & Associates Construction Co. Inc. WebTank Inc., a full-service design and marketing company providing business-building solutions for the Web, announced the promotion of Tom McKibbin to vice president of operations. McKibbin, who joined the agency in the fall of 1999 as project manager, has more than 20 years of experience with large-scale application design and programming.

The Dikman Co. Inc. has announced that Eagle Precast Inc., a division of Florida Engineered Construction Products, has leased space at Pinebrooke Commerce Center IV, 1226 Tech Blvd., Tampa, from Pinebrooke-HG Inc. to be used as an engineering/drafting office. Eagle Precast makes prefabricated structural elements for parking garages and office buildings.

The board of directors of Walter Industries Inc. announces that it has hired Robert G. Burton as chairman, president and chief executive officer. His focus will be on increasing shareholder value, delivering EPS growth, improving margins and creating operational synergies.
