Fusion gets record win

Diego Serna had three goals and an assist to spark a five-goal second half as the Miami Fusion ended its regular season by beating DC United 6-2 Saturday night and tying an MLS record for goals in one half by a team.

With Miami leading 2-1 in the 55th minute, a game that featured two non-playoff teams, eight yellow cards, one ejection and handfuls of missed opportunities became a rout.

Miami scored four goals in 10 minutes, two by Serna, to establish a team record for goals in a game.
