The Hernando County Visitation Center in Brooksville now has a playground. The playground was built by Michael Ouelett of Boy Scout Troop 8 of Pasco County.

Ouelett, working toward earning his Eagle Scout badge, provided the materials and labor to build the playground. The Eagle rank is the highest achievement a Scout can earn. The playground was his final community service Eagle project.

The playground will be used by the children and their visiting family at the Hernando County visitation Center.
