BLISS, BRYCE L., 74, of Brooksville, formerly of Hudson, died Saturday (Sept. 9, 2000) at home. Born in Clearwater, he came to Brooksville 12 years ago from Hudson. He was a retired foreman of the maintenance mechanics department for Stauffer Chemical Co., Tarpon Springs. He was a member of Gulf Ridge Park Baptist Church, Brooksville, and a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Ollie M. Bliss; two sons, Lionel, Crawfordville, and Lonnie Winkles, New Port Richey; a daughter, Margie Berry, Hudson; two brothers, Dale, Hudson, and Ray, Spring Hill; two sisters, Wilma McGee, Fort Pierce, and Sandy Bliss, Spring Hill; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. CIRINA, JULIE, 92, of Spring Hill, died Thursday (Sept. 7, 2000) at Evergreen Woods Health and Rehab Center. She came here 30 years ago from her native Brooklyn, N.Y., and she was a retired insurance clerk and member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. FAULK, RITA CLAIRE, 70, of Floral City, died Thursday (Sept. 7, 2000) at home. Born in New Jersey, she came here 15 years ago from Houston. She was a retired comptroller and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish and the Catholic Women's Club. Survivors include two sons, Edward Harris, Floral City, and William Harris, Dunnellon; two daughters, Kathleen Bethea, Beverly Hills, and Maureen Palmer, Rosharon, Texas; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. FERRANDINO, MARY, 90, of Ridge Manor West, died Friday (Sept. 8, 2000) at Beverly Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Palermo, Italy, she came here 22 years ago from New Port Richey. She was a homemaker and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Bushnell. Survivors include her husband, Anthony; a son, Nicholas, Long Island, N.Y., a daughter, Marjorie Ferrandino, San Antonio, Texas; one grandchild; and four great-grandchildren. KOWALSKI, EUGENE J. "GENE," 75, of Spring Hill, died Friday (Sept. 8, 2000) at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. Born in Lackawanna, N.Y., he came here 15 years ago from Buffalo, N.Y. He was a welder for Bethlehem Steel, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, Buffalo, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10209, the Spring Hill Fishing Club and the Spring Hill Happy Wanderers. Survivors include his wife, Irene Kowalski; a son, Thomas, Williamsville, N.Y.; a daughter, Kathleen Eddy, Depew, N.Y.; a brother, Edward, Lackawanna; a sister, Elaine Beres, Blasdell, N.Y.; and five grandchildren. MOLL, VANDA C., 79, of Brookridge, died Friday, (Sept. 8, 2000) at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. Born in Philadelphia, she came here 13 years ago from Clearwater. She was a retired waitress, a member of the Nativity Lutheran Church, a volunteer and past board member for the SPCA. Survivors include two sons, Albert T. Whalen, Brooksville, and James V. Whalen, Bayonet Point; three daughters, Janet L. Sowinski and Alicia L. Craven, both of Spring Hill, and Phyllis A. Schrader, Cape Coral; a brother, Hans B. POLLINA, MARIE ANTOINETTE, 33, of Brooksville, died Saturday (Sept. 9, 2000) at home. She came here 16 years ago from her native Louisville, Ky., and was a registered nurse.
