The Trip to Bountiful, a drama about family relationships and Southern roots that Horton Foote first wrote for TV in 1953, unfolds in the Stageworks production in Tampa. Marie Hyman plays an aging widow determined to get back to her homeplace in Bountiful, Texas. Bill Moyers aims to break through the "intractable taboo" of talking about dying with On Our Own Terms: Moyers on Dying on PBS (WEDU-Ch.3).
