Tampa police arrested a 16-year-old boy, and two men turned themselves in after a pawn shop robbery early Sunday.
Police said the group entered Cash America Pawn, 7500 Nebraska Ave., through the roof at 12:45 a.m., triggering the alarm. When police arrived, they saw three suspects running.
Dan Bowser, 139 Kirby St. E, was arrested at the scene and charged with armed burglary, grand theft in the third degree and possession of burglary tools. He was released to the Juvenile Assessment Center.
The others escaped but turned themselves in to authorities before noon. Dwayne Bowser, 18, 139 Kirby St. E, and Lehenne Oglesby, 20, 828 145th Ave. E, were both charged with burglary of a structure and grand theft in the third degree.
They were taken to Hillsborough County Jail.
Police said the suspects took electronic devices from the business.
Most of the items were recovered.
Authorities seek suspects
in robbery at restaurant
BRANDON _ Hillsborough County sheriff's deputies are searching for two men in connection with an armed robbery at Don Pablo's restaurant early Sunday.
Deputies said the men entered the closed restaurant at 2025 W Brandon Blvd. shortly after midnight.
They brandished handguns and demanded cash. The men struck three employees _ two men and a woman, who was knocked to the floor _ then fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The men who were struck received minor injuries, and the woman was taken to Brandon Regional Medical Center with a sprained knee.
Deputies cited the suspects' distinct size: one stands 6 feet 6 and weighs about 300 pounds; the other is about 6 feet and 225 pounds. Deputies said the two suspects are black and were dressed all in black.
The bigger man has a goatee and wore a dark mesh cap; the other was clean-shaven.
