Five-year-old Taelor Hughes of Spring Hill gives her 3-year-old brother, Brett, a hand with his technique Saturday at the Mariner Bowling Lanes. Saturday marked the beginning of the 11th season of the Young American Bowling Alliance games at the Spring Hill bowling alley. Over the weekend, 296 youth bowlers, ages 3 to 21, participated. "They learn how to bowl and we like to make it fun," said youth director Sandy Wilson. During the season, there will be theme days and prizes for the young bowlers.
