SportsBusiness Journal reports there's no end in sight for the stadium-arena building boom at U.S. universities. One of the latest projects: At Grand Forks, the University of North Dakota is building an 11,400-seat arena with 48 luxury suites to house its Fighting Sioux NCAA powerhouse ice hockey team.

No more running

Former Lions running back Barry Sanders, 32, and Detroit television news anchor Lauren Campbell, 35, plan to be married Nov. 11. The couple will finalize their on-again, off-again relationship at a ceremony at Plymouth Congregational Church, the Detroit News reported Wednesday. An evening reception is set for about 50 guests. Sanders announced his retirement without warning July 28, 1999.
