BOWLS NOTES

CITRUS: Three players who helped power Auburn's offensive resurgence are considering leaving for the NFL. Running back Rudi Johnson, receiver Ronney Daniels and fullback Heath Evans have asked the NFL to evaluate their draft status. With quarterback Ben Leard a senior, Auburn could lose more than 90 percent of its offensive production. Coach Tommy Tuberville said the main considerations were the players' financial needs and where they might be drafted. "I'll never stand in the way of anybody because if you talk somebody into staying, it's not going to work," he said.

COTTON: The last three Tennessee players delayed because of an ice storm joined the team for practice in Dallas. Wide receivers Cedrick Wilson and Eric Parker and offensive tackle Reggie Coleman arrived Thursday morning. Linebacker Dominique Stevenson, defensive back Andre Lott and tailback Travis Stephens caught flights Wednesday night. "It was difficult. I was just trying to get out of the airport," Wilson said. "I know there are people still waiting in that airport right now."
