NOTES: This is a battle between teams on a hot streak. South Florida has won six consecutive games and seven of its last eight. Wisconsin has won eight straight since opening the season with a loss at then-No. 9 Tennessee. For South Florida to continue its streak, it must end a Badgers streak. Wisconsin has won its last six games and 14 of its last 18 at the Kohl Center, which opened in January 1998. USF also can equal its best December for wins. The Bulls are 6-1 this month, with their only loss coming Dec. 2 against Fordham in New York. South Florida twice has recorded seven wins in December, most recently during the 1990-91 season. The Bulls are led by Waldon, who is playing outstanding basketball. In the past four games he is averaging 23 points, 8.2 rebounds and is shooting 80 percent from the field. Wisconsin has just one player, Boone, averaging in double figures, but seven players are averaging at least 5.5 points. Wisconsin has dominated on the boards, outrebounding opponents by six per game.
