Tony and Yolanda Hreglia celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary February 2000, with an anniversary mass at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle in St. Petersburg. They also celebrated Nov. 11, 2000, with a party at Verdi's in Westbury, N.Y. They were married Dec. 23, 1950, at Resurrection Ascension Catholic Church in Queens, N.Y., and moved to Pinellas Park from North Bellmore, N.Y., in January 1998.
Mrs. Hreglia retired from the European American Bank in Uniondale, N.Y. Mr. Hreglia owned a tavern in Greenpoint, N.Y., and is a member of the Knights of Columbus in Holiday. He served in the Army during the Korean War. They are members of the Italian American Club in Clearwater and the Pinellas Park Senior Center.
They are members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinellas Park and have two sons (one deceased).
Fred and Roberta "Bobby" Kirwin celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Dec. 21, 2000. They were married Dec. 21, 1940, in Pittsburgh and moved to Pass-a-Grille Beach from Jamestown, N.Y., and now live at Palm Hill Country Club in Largo.
Mrs. Kirwin was a television producer/director for WEDU-Ch. 3 and a television coordinator for the West Florida education district. Mr. Kirwin retired from the Fuller Brush Product Center in St. Petersburg. He is an avid sports fan and recreational walker.
They have three children and three grandchildren.
